She is silver, which means one of the parents is really a silver and not what they 'appear' to be. Silver can hide under red, so perhaps the chestnut is not really a chestnut. Got pics of the parents?
She's definitely silver something. I vote silver bay. The dam is either actually a silver bay (often mistaken for chestnut) or she's chestnut carrying silver (silver doesn't show on red).
I agree with those who say silver black. Black from the bay sire, (bay = black +agouti) and silver from the dam who is probably carrying silver but since she has no black can not express it.
im sorry I was thanking of another foal when I said that lol but she what little she has would class her as a paint in the APHA...
Sire is JWS Good Deeds Lomesome Scout who is sired by Fallen Ash Scouts Good Deed, which was a roan.... When Scout is clipped you can really see his roaning =)
Plus once clipped she may have more white than can be seen cuz I have a mare now that in her winter coat she is all black but once clipped she has a small white patch of hairs where she tried to be a tobiano like her father but it just didn't come through....
I do not think the stallion is true Roan I think he is Sabino. Roans....well there is a lot more roaning, typically. The sire being Roan does not mean the offspring is not just Sabino.....
well I havnt had him tested yet but I posted a thing about if he could be sabino but the ppl on here said they didn't see sabino but roan.... I do believe he is roan because she is the same color as my best friends bay roan AQHA mare.......
