any suggestions or how-to's to block someone from your website? I have a stalker out there after me, quite scary. we have reported it to the police for record, alerted the attorney and he asked me to find out how to block them from my site, that could end it sfairly quickly, cause I know the stalker is not that computer literate. then I have to contact the stalkers web people and let them know too, what he is doing. they might be able to do something on their end. and I am contacting mine today. ugh, why me??? thanks for any help you can give me.

Angela can you go into the 'settings' on your email software and find "Block E-Mail Addresses"?

On my AOL software, you can type in someones email address and save it....then it automatically blocks them from communicating with you.

Also...go to your Block Spam settings and put them in there too.

I dont know how to see who's been on your website and block them from opening your website....interesting to hear if anyone knows how to do that out of curiosity.

Ugh.

Try contacting your website server.

Find out from your provider if you can block a certain IP address...if they are coming from a fixed IP, that could possibly work.

I would go out and google it. I am sure you are not the first to have the problem, and sadly won't be the last. Some people just do seem to love making others' lives miserable.

I've just got to ask as to how you know that there is a stalker viewing your site. I don't know who views mine unless they add them selves to my guest book.

Just wondering as I don't understand this. Sorry Could you explain :DOH!
