Does anyone know what kind of cart this is?

(I'm assuming it's ok to post these pictures since they are in a book....)?
It looks like a K-Bike (or similar) to me, but the book was published in 2007 ( says photograph copyright is 2005). I don't think the K-Bike was around then, was it?
Anyway, any info is appreciated
