I would like to buy an older horse....maybe something in the age of 10 to 18 years old , but I never see them for sale . Does anyone ever sell a well trained , been there done that older horse ? I love my babies , but sometimes I would just like to have a horse that will say " hey dont worry mom I can do this, lets go " In the arena. Do people ever sell these seniors?

Are you asking about an older miniature horse, horse horse, or pony?

I've seen quite a few old shetlands advertised lately. Howard Stables has some (I think). I was just on their website. www.howardstables.com. I think the older ones are just awesome! I will most likely purchased an older Modern when the time comes. They will already be trained, be use to the show environment, and something I can trust to teach me the ropes.
