What are the rules/ requirements for Country Road Pleasure Driving and Open Pleasure Driving? I just want to know some info to help me prepare if I ever do get to showing. I plain on watching these two classes and would like to know a little more about them before watching.

It is actually just Country driving without the road part. Country Pleasure horses have a lower headset than Open Pleasure horses and less knee action. They should have a long ground covering stride and move with purpose at all gaits in a quiet, relaxed pleasant manner. Pleasure horses have a high headset with plenty of knee action and showing more spirit and presence than a Country horse. Both classes are run the same with the horses showing at a Country or Pleasure trot, extended trot and walk in both directions of the ring. They are both asked to back in the lineup before placings are called.

Thank you so much for the explanation!
