OH MY!!!!!! I say she has definatley dropped. You know Im wondering if all the unusual cold weather has played a part in mares not bagging up. I have noticed in the last two days with the warm weathe 60 degrees that my mares are now starting to bag up. Nothing big but getting puffy.

LOL definately dropped! Our mare I just posted that foaled on Saturday looked a lot like that on Friday, I pointed it out to my husband. Should be soon for your girl!

If I were you I would make sure I had some domperidone (sp?) on hand. Have you looked at her vulva, is it getting stretched? Is she laying out flat any? I have found with our mares, they do not lay down any right before foaling. She may just be one that gets extra large....?

How old is she? Has she any foals before? I have an older mare that looks huge the moment she concieves. She tends to drop just like that a few weeks prior. But, I have noticed she bags quicker now, then when she was a youngster.

Please keep us posted. Give poor Momma an extra treat for me.

No bags here, but waiting for them to drop...

Good Luck this season has been different without much of udders, I also wonder

if weather has something to do with how they show signs of foaling.

Mine have all been bagging up about normal here.

Wow!.. She is huge!.. hehe!!..

My mare is bagging up (for 5 days, at the first day, it was slightly and now it is HUGE).

Here is photo of her last week.

EDIT: She is 33" tall.

thank you all for your input.....Rosie is carrying downwards..as my other mares are wide as trucks...if you looked at Rosie from the top she looks normal..it is all hangin downwards..is that something to worry about or just her style? she is 29.50 inches

She looks pretty big, if you don't have any foaling history on her she may be closer than you think.

maybe just not one who carries the full 335 days. I second the suggestion to have some domperidone on hand just in case... she may bag up and be fine but safer to have that and if possible some colostrum.
