Hi, Everyone --

I'm aiming to make this short because I want to get back out with my new guys, but I can get carried away sometimes.

DunIT, Sunny and Bacardi (a/k/a Pal) are at my place now. They made it GREAT from Erica's. The shipper, Brian, was very friendly and kind with the horses. I am pleased!!!! The horses were in as nice a trailer as I have ever seen. I had thought they'd be here today since Sunday, so the trip as far as my drop off is right on track.

The weather is nasty here, was raining and windy. The sun's coming out a little, but it's still yucky. But, I didn't have the heart to stall them just yet. They are out in their paddock showing off to my other horses (through the fence) and eating some hay. Have hugged and kissed all three and each one of them really does blow me away.

No pictures today, or at least it's real doubtful. The weather just isn't cooperative. However, I am going to be spending a lot of time with them in their stalls. I can't hardly stand it. I just never have owned horses that I think are as amazing as these boys!!!

Thank you, Erica Killion!!! I just don't have the words to say how happy these horses have already made me and how much I look forward to many, many happy times to come. I'm just so proud of them and am going right back out to just gaze at them and pinch myself some more. Also, gonna lay a ton of hugs and kisses on them all!!!

And thank you, I Love Minis Transport!!! It looks to me like my guys were treated wonderfully by you, had plenty of water and hay, arrived when I expected, and the trailer is immaculate! Could not ask for more!!!

Thanks you all!

I will take some pictures of them SOON but things are so muddy now, and Sunny and Bacardi-Pal have done what they can to try and roll and soak up some of that mud! They were pretty spiffy looking when they got off the trailer but have loaded up with dirt.

I am gonna check on them through the night. They are in their stalls now so I can monitor if they eat all their food (purina adult / purina junior) and how much water they drink and how much they poop. Once they are all settled in, I plan to stall them just for meals until it's time for show season.

They're all such sweet horses with really good dispositions. They have been showing off to the other horses and DunIT can really MOVE! He's a natural little ham if ever there was one. Wish it wasn't already dark outside because I want to keep on having fun gazing at them!!!

Oh, Jill, I can feel your excitement and happiness from here.

I can't wait to see and hear more about them. I can live vicariously through you, right?

I seriously have the buying bug and I need to settle down b/c I have one more filly to sell and foals coming beginning Jan. 29!!!

So brag away and enjoy those horses. So glad to hear their trip was safe and good.

So glad they made it and Jill is in love with them. They are all nice horses (of course I am a little partial).....and all have Great sweet personalities on them.

DunIT is my favorite, but don't tell the others. He is so much like a typical Bandito baby - pretty head, soft eyes that will melt you.........and "stuck" on himself - thinking he is just the cat's meow
biggrin.gif
And Jill ain't lying when she says he can MOVE.......he is very very animated, as is his mom.

Sunny is a sweetie and loves attention and to get treats and attention - just seems to take each day on stride, not getting too worked up over much and is all the other horses pal. Bacardi/Pal is just a preteenager boy who is clueless at times - likes to follow the crowd, tries hard to please, but not quite sure how to do everything, but very willing and also loves attention.

Hi Jill,

I’ve not been able to go online much for the past several weeks. Didn’t have any internet service at all, outside of when at work for a couple weeks. Then we just got our new service finally set up at our new home about a week ago.

Even still though, between going to work, going to doctor appointments, moving and trying to unpack and resettle all over again, I’ve been lucky to grab only a minute or two online here and there, but lately it's been mostly all day with no chance for time to go online at all.

I’ve not been able to visit long enough to read up with most everything for a long while now, so I'm not quite clear on whatever happened about questionable shipping services, and don’t really want to get into sorting any "he said-she said" stuff. I can only speak from personal experience with regard to Brian and Amanda of “I Love Minis Transportâ€.

My very first and so far only experience with them has left a lifelong impression on my heart in deep gratitude and appreciation for both of them. They took care of both my Champagne Harnessbred boys with great kindness and impeccable competence all the way from Florida up to Wyoming.

What’s more, they did so without even the slightest of hesitation in volunteering that very service in our time of need, regardless of the fact that we wouldn’t have been able to rightly compensate them.

To be honest with you, I'm still amazed at how fast they stepped up to help another. All of that happened so fast, from the moment the decision was made, even to “nowâ€, makes my head spin with the realization of how fast it all happened. I wasn’t able to think straight at the time anyhow, with all the other “concerns of sort†consuming my mind’s worry those few short weeks ago.

Their communication with their point of destination, Sandii in Wyoming, and then her conveying their progress to me right up till they arrived safe and sound…never once was I made to feel their well being was ever in jeopardy at any moment throughout their trip. Their every need was met along their way, and I am personally forever deeply beholding to them for that.

Peace of mind over them was a precious blessing to me...enabling me to stay stronger and better focused on other stuff happening for me at the time.

We don’t know yet, what the future holds for us, with regard for our boys, (and our other horses still at yet another kind and caring friend’s home a couple hours north of us).

But, I can promise you this….if opportunity ever does present itself where we might ever need the services of an equine transport…Brian and Amanda of “I Love Minis Transport†will always be our first and foremost choice, without question! I pray with all my heart that may be a day that’s very soon!

Whether it’s for bringing either one or both our boys home again, or sending them off to a new home??? We don’t know yet…life’s ever blossoming flower is still unfolding with each new day. Just holding it all in continued prayers…and if it’s not pushing the envelope in asking for that one extra little prayerful miracle…that might include a possibility for inquiring of their shipping services for that little gelding out in Texas that I’ve had my heart set on for nearly 2 years now!!!

Oh I know, I’m still hanging on to those thin little threads of woven dreams. (Happy sighs, nonetheless). I don’t know…only in time will reveal however, what ever, WHEN ever any of life’s dreams along the way may or may not ever come to be, in some however near or far off future… Lord willing.

Anyways….all that to say…

Jill, I’m so happy your boys are everything you hoped for. Gosh, I didn’t even know you were looking again, let alone acquiring some of Erica’s babies. WOW!!!! How awesome! Wait, I do recall you mentioning DunIt, but I thought that was a while ago.
laugh.gif
Guess I better try to “read up†sometime soon, to see what all else I have been missing, LOL!

saludando.gif
Wishing you and yours a warm and HAPPY MINI ROMPING THANKSGIVING with all your new boys! Can’t wait to see pics of them all!

I'm off now to go see if I can squeeze one of Erica's beauties into that 'ol bucket of dreams of mine that I was speaking of. One more dream for good measure, eh? LOL!

Hugs & prayers,

Tanya

Congrats Jill! That must be the same Brian who is coming to pick up a girl I sold to France. He is going to Reeces, then here around thursday or friday.

Sheri Lyken who is doing the quarantine said he is Joan Richard's son.

I am glad to know the rig is great and they were too since one of my favorite young mares is leaving on a long stressful trip and she is in foal for her first.
