[SIZE=14pt]I think a lot of people think that horses should travel in big lose boxes but I have found that when they are in close quarters where they can brace themselves against the walls and ride sideways rather than head first it is much easier for them to keep their balance and be less stressed. They can still lay down usually but that is very hard in a moving vehicle. They are much happier with just a couple inches on either side of them. If they have too much room they sort of bounce around and it is much harder on their legs to stay standing.[/SIZE]

I can't wait to see your new horses.Plan to bring them this spring to DELMARVA MINIATURE HORSE CLUB show.We are moving our date in 2006 to May 27&28-have secured Delaware State Fairgrounds&just need approval for AMHR show.We will finally be able to have our show in warm weather.YEEAHH!!!

I think I'm actually more excited about the horses this morning than yesterday. Yesterday, I was still concerned about if they'd settle in and just the logistics of everything. Now that they've eaten dinner and are working on breakfast, I am much more at ease and just so looking forward to spending time with them and loving on them!

And, Bev, OH I WILL BE THERE!!!! I can hardly wait for the DE shows this year!!! Is the show you are talking about the one that used to be in way early April? How many shows will there be in DE? I hope to attend them all, and one in PA, and ????
