Thanks guys - it was great fun. Unfortunately I got weak with the low prices and bought three very nice mares...one of which is #71 Kim, who you had at $1200 and they wanted $1500.....I caved.

She was too nice to let go at that price...even though I keep saying, no more, no more.

I'm my own worst enemy - an auction holic and a horse-a-holic...

: .not a good combination for someone in charge of putting the auction live online. We got #1, #60 and #71. There were alot of very nice horses there that went way too cheap...and alot of no sales that should have been sold....oh well. It was fun and I'm glad that you all enjoyed it.

We're lining up some other auctions as we speak.....hopefully one very soon if we can pull it together that quickly. And Definitely the Aloha Acres sale in December in Florida.

For those of you who could not watch - please email me and tell me what operating system you are on, etc. so I can work on fixing the problem (if it's on our end) before the next sale. Our goal is to get everyone watching.

Congrats to all the others who brought home new minis from the sale too!

We had posted here a couple times. I honestly can't remember if it was on the sales page or here on the forum. It was put together pretty quickly and the advertising was a little lost in the rush.

We'll do our best to make sure all future auctions are posted here more frequently. I would hate for anyone to miss out on bidding.

I was trying to bid on a mare but didn`t get through to anyone on time. When they called me back, they said the horse had been sold but ---------- she was still on the screen being sold, here at my place!!.

They said there was a 10 second delay but it had to be over a minute. As we talked, the next horse finally entered the ring. I know it had to be over a minute. I have heard that Reece Family auction in De (the 18th) might have a cam for bidding. The cams might get a lot of us in trouble LOL

I enjoyed watching the auction and didn`t have to travle 8 hours to do it!!

I thought this sale had the best and clearest picture of any I have seen....Very nice !!!

I also thought that the quality of the online feed from the sale was the BEST that I have ever seen. Heather, I think that you have set a standard for all of the other sales to follow!!!

I completely forgot about the auction being live. Darn it all anyway - but perhaps it was a good thing as I think I have the same addictions as Heather - haha!!!!!

I'm asking again as didnt get a reply, could someone please give me the link they used so I can see if I can get it up and running as mare stare won't seem to work for me? I appreciate it, thanks,

Maxine

Minx - which link are you going to? The Eastern Classic sale is over and there is no feed. If you are trying to view any of the other cams they are on umedia player and require that download. Since you had to reformat or "rework" your computer, you may need that again. There are instructions on our help page that may assist you. Or you can email us at [email protected] or [email protected] We'll help you get the cams up. And not all the cams are on right now - the season is winding down.

For the majority of the viewers the delay was minimal, but depending on what your own internet provider is, the delay can be greater. I had friends in Alabama watching that experienced the same thing you did. They are on satellite which has always caused them a problem. I wish we could control the feeds everywhere so that they were more timely, but our hands are tied there. The best thing to do is call in two horses before the one you are interested in.

We did have a couple of people comment that they couldn't get a phone line in. This feed created more phone bids than ever (or so I was told), so that will have to be considered in the future. I would like to have the online bidding, but I have to work that out with the auctioneer. They preferred the phone bids at this auction.
