ECMHC is having their first ever A and R sanctioned show March 31, April 1 &2 2006, in Camden SC.

The club has been working hard to make this a first rate show, and we're all really excited. Just wondering how many of you plan on attending. I'm looking foward to meeting so many people, as this is my first year.

Hope you can make...this will be one NOT to miss.

Where is Camden? I think it is going to be too far for us.... wish it was in NC somewhere.

Lyn

Camden is only a few minutes east of Columbia SC and about an hour south of Charlotte NC.

Camden is horse country down here. The same weekend there will be a steeplchase and it's a really big deal in this area. Of course it will not be at the show grounds.

The facilites are really nice and we will be having an exhibitors party Saturday night.

I hope all of you will consider coming and supporting this club and showing off your beautiful horses.

For more info, please visit our web site East Coast Miniature Horse CLub

Of Course I will be coming to the show. I have been a part of this club since the beginning. This show is going to be a lot of fun. Aubrey

Thats about an 8 hour trip from richmond.... a bit too far for me and katie and the baby.... I went ADMS national there in columbia and it took me almost 8 hours. sorry but we just cant do it. Wiliamston would have been better thats only 3 hours.... more manageable but I realize this way the more southern people can go easier. Its gonna be quite a haul from Butler! Butler is 6 and a half hours north west of Richmond!

Williamston was one of the top facility choices, but they didn't have any openings in the timeframe needed. The Camden facility seems to be top notch. It is going to be a great show--and a GREAT party!

We'll be there - it'll be the closest show for us yet, since we live in SC.

It's only 45 minutes away!!! We'd love to have visitors!!!!!

Its a little to early for us to have horses in shape. Would love to come watch. Best of luck.

Mountain Waif ~ don't know the answer to that.....I have to check with someone on the show commitee.

I might be there, but won't be showing anything. It depends on when we can get both houses closed on. I'd love to meet some people up that way. We are moving to Gaffney, SC. I have 1 mare who's due to foal around the 1st of May and one oversized gelding, might be adding a stallion but thats not final yet.

Thanks

Karen

I would have LOVED to go, but it's even further for me than for Lyn. I just can't go that far for the show, not when the ones in DE and PA are so much closer. Maybe at some point, there can be an ECMHC show in Williamston, NC or Lexington, VA. I would absolutely attend those and would also help with sponsorship.

The class list is not finalized yet, so don't print that one out to use. There have been some changes made due to rule changes in the associations. As soon as both class lists are approved I will post it on LB and on the club website.

As for the for sale class, no there isn't one, but you are welcome to still get stalls and post sale signs on your horses, as long as the health requirements are met that would be fine.

OH yes we will be there. I am so excited and can't wait to see everyone there. I am going

into show withdrawel . :new_shocked:

If anyone would like a good laugh I'll be showing my horses for the first time. My lessons so far with my trainer have looked more like a comedy act - at least HE'S been laughing.

Hope to meet lots of new mini people and see some old familiar faces as well.
