Even though the most hardcore eco-friendly gift wrap
would be to use no wrapping at all.....that's too much
for me even though I have been known to tape down
the store bag and pretend I have wrapped it enough.
Eco-Friendly Gift Wrap Ideas:
* Sunday Comic Newspaper
* Old Magazine paper for little stuff
* Old Posters
* Homemade Fabric Bags
* Handkerchifs / Bandanas ~ good for odd shaped stuff - just
bring all four corners together at the top and tie with hemp/ string
* Use old sheets & use safety pins
* For baby gifts, use a baby or nursing blanket w/ diaper pins and then they can wash & use the blanket too.
* Just use fabric ~ great idea for the crafty [person] in your life.
* No wrapping ~ use a wooden basket & pretty arrangement.
Have any other ideas to add to the list?
Oh, and since Spring and Easter are coming soon, here's a link about how to have an fun and eco-friendly time! Enjoy!
