Facebook Share or Like Button?

There used to be a button at the bottom of the topic pages where you could share or like a thread on Facebook. Now I don't see it, but I see other share media... Is there a way to bring the FB button back?

Jill, the feature was turned off. We were finding unsuitable content from Facebook comments being linked to LB. Some of the comments in the status reports were totally unacceptable for young viewers and since LB is strongly a family based web site that needs to be suitable for all viewers, and since we had no way to control what comments were made on FB and linked through to LB, it had to be turned off.

It wasn't, until the upgrade. We were having to delete delete delete nasty stuff from the status bar all day & night! And it kept reposting each time someone on FB posted or liked it on FB, it'd come back here!

It was turning into a nightmare with non-PG language at LB.

I didn't know that was going on.

I shared a link on my FB a little bit ago to the Voter ID Law thread. I hope that doens't make it so unwanted posts can flow back here (?).

It shouldn't, now that the linking from FB to LB has been broken.

It was a shame but had to be done to get rid of that nasty side effect. LB is family friendly!
