Hmmmm. I can't say as I have a favorite canned soup. Don't eat them at all, EVER. I prefer to make homemade soup!

In fact, got my turkey soup in the crock pot right now! The pasta and rice are always too soggy for me. I like mine fresh, put in just before eating.

My kids and husband like the Progresso soups though.

You are sooooo right about it being soup weather!! The weather has finally turned to fall here and I'm ready for some homemade soup and might just make a cup of hot cocoa later to warm my hands!!

I'm not a big soup eater, but my family likes the Progresso brand soups too.

I make homemade too, last weekend because I was sick it was chicken soup with clump(german dumplings) this weekend it was corn chowder. We had a few days of cool weather here.

Me too on the Progresso brands. My fav would have to be the homestyle chicken noodle. I tried Campbells tomatoe soup not long ago because when I was a kid I loved it with grilled cheese...but man they sure have changed it...it's tooo sweet!

Out here we have two brands on the shelf it is either Campbells or Surfine and I love Tomato soup, but I am with the rest...I make awesome soup.

If it's in a can it's only Campbells Tomato. Otherwise I cook it myself. I make a mean Onion and an amazing cream of carrot or broccoli.

The only canned soup I really like is Campbells condensed brocolli and cheese. Nothing better on a cold day than a roaring fire, mug of soup and crusty bread

Hi Jill, you made my day.....THANKS

I put up veggies and we have a freezer of home grown beef and I fill the crock pot every other day.

usually beef with a mix of any or all of the following, corn, tomatoes, okra, cow peas, beans and on a cold day I add one habernaro pepper for heat, yum!

Hi, Everyone --

This is fun! Ya'll are just a lot more energetic in the kitchen than I am. I haven't made soup very often other than chilli, which actually does turn out pretty good. I do my best to conserve my energy when it comes to cooking... I like to say I can cook ANYTHING so long as it comes in a can or a box.

mmmm...soup! I'm a huge soup fan. I keep a can in my back pack for school all the time. One summer I LIVED off of Campbells Vegtable soup. I opened the can, added one can of tomato juice and about a can of water and ate the whole thing. The only other thing I ate all summer was chicken nuggets dipped in a barbecue sauce and honey mix and fries dipped in barbecue sauce and doused with vinegar. I had mono, so the doctor said eating anything was better than not eating. The thought of eating anything else made me ill most days!

Now I love campbells cowder, tomato with portobello and cheese ravioli, tomato with basil and oregeno, and a few others. I loooove my soup! I also have found that I am an AMAZING soup cooker! My mom couldn't make homemade soup to save her life, but everyone loves my home made chicken. Need a few other good ones. hmmmm...new thread perhaps?
