I just realized, I do not think I showed my recent (about 4wks old) shots of Fantasy Corrals Secret Treasure! Treasure is growing up very prettily at least to my eyes :bgrin Treasure is a palomino who turned "arab grey". She is AMHA/AMHR and has Buckeroo and Egyptian King lines (loosely similar breeding to my DunIT).

In some of the pictures, Treasure has a piece of leaf (ie NOT pooh) in her forelock... however, she surely wouldn't want to let me get close enough to get rid of it for her. And, btw, she has fully shed off now, but these are the most recent shots I have of her.

and just as a comparison, the first picture I ever saw of her, and the first photo of her in October when she came home...

Very feminine, she will look so stunning once she fills out.

I like to see them look like this as yearlings. Her head looks so dainty.

I also enjoy the white-greys as that was the color of my first Arabian mare.

: I really like it when the girls look like girls!!! :aktion033:

Thanks, people! I've always admired Treasure's "looks". I've had some trouble with her behavoir, but I think that was because I let her and Flirt be wild women all winter long. I will start working one-on-one with Treasure soon (I've been concentrating on Flirt the past 6wks).

Treasure is for sure in a "yearling" stage of her looks. She's matured / balanced out some since the pictures (butt not so high, etc.). I'm interested to see how she will turn out. I really got knocked out by the first picture I saw of her but at that time, she'd been spoken for. Something happened and I was able to buy her after all (as you all can tell).

Yes, the yearlings can be "off" looking but she looks right on to me, to mature the way I personally like 'em (i.e., not heavy and low to the ground, but overall nicely balanced with a good amount of leg).

I think she looks great!!!

Guessing the behavior will even out as she matures and with a few well-timed lessons. My Lark was a bad girl like that, too (she still kinda is as she has a reputation so I hear at her new barn/farm), but that is in her genes, also! *LOL*

You have every right to be proud and with her combination of color genetics, you will have some nice icing on those beautifully built babies she gives you.
