I wanted to show you what I did to my roan filly. Here she is at about 2 weeks after I clipped that little spot.

And, at a few months..at her first shedding. She looks like she has an Appy blanket in this one, but is not..she is solid black roan...just partly shed out.

I do love the roans, and your mare is beautiful too!
