Last monday night my mother and I got Chinease food for dinner and sat down to watch a movie while keeping an eye on Keepsake. She was the 3rd mare due but for over a week I kept saying she would go first.
The neat/creepy thing was , after dinner I opened my fortune cookie and it said,"You will soon witness a miracle", less than 1/2 an hour later Keepsake went into labor. The baby was more than 1/2 way out by the time I got to the barn.
So here is the little guy at about 5 days old on his first day out. He is a silver bay with a snip on his nose, his sire is in my avatar.
Please forgive the photos, I think I have the oldest digital ever made.
