Foal watch???? errrr puppy watch

Here is the thread I promised the fellow doxie lovers. My girl Hunter is pregnant with her second litter. The first was 3 puppies and that was a year and a half ago. She was Xrayed last friday and she has 7 puppies in there! What a feat for an 11 pound mini dachshund!

Her temp today is 99.7 normal for her is 100.8 to 101. She got down to 97 last time before whelping. She has been nesting some, would rather find her own spot than the puppy play pen I have given her. lol She has to be carried up steps at this point. Here are a few pics over the last week.

Good luck. I can't even believe she is still walking around. She's huge.

Dixie is doing great she's a whopping 8 1/2 pounds. She so funny right now, my brother found an abandoned kitten about 4-5 weeks old. We have her in a exercise cage with a dog crate to go into to slee in. Well Dixie thinks sh's supposed to protect the kitten from all the other dogs. She's been cleaning her up after she eats, we are right there when she does it as she seems to be a little rough sometimes. She cleans her through the bars so she can't get to close. I can't believe what a "BIG" dog complex she has. she met some really big dogs this weekend and she was ready to bark her head off at them as if to say," I'm just as big as you are so get over here and play with me."

I can't believe it's been almost a year since Mox was in that state!!

Her temp this morning is 98.1 so we are getting closer. Im going to go get goats milk in case I need to help feed babies. already told my family dinner would be crock pot cooking because Im keeping my eyes on Hunter!

nothing yet, in fact just took her temp and it is back up to 99.2 She is doing alot of nexting tho and whining. She is a whiner when uncomfortable.
