Here it is still 98.4/litre. That works out to $4.47 for a US gallon, or for a more accurate comparison, $3.29US for a US gallon. :bgrin
However, we now have a Safeway gas bar in town, so if I buy groceries at Safeway I get a coupon for 14 cents per litre off of my gas purchase....which brings my gas price down to 84.4....then when I buy 30 litres of gas at their gas bar I get a coupon for 5% off my next grocery purchase. It all adds up to the best deal in town.
I used to be a loyal Co-op customer, but they give only 3.5 cents back at the pump, plus my 4.5 cent/litre dividend that gets paid out the end of this month...and I think now on certain days they do give out grocery coupons too. But, with their grocery prices being higher, and their selection more limited than Safeway....
Sigh. Until Safeway opened their gas bar, buying gas in this town was much more straightforward, no math involved in figuring out where to fill up!!
