Gas Prices....

$1.98 here today at the "bargain spots", average around town probably closer to $2.25. MUCH better than it was just weeks ago, but of course summer is over and gas normally goes down some after vacation season winds down! I'm delighted to see it come down, but not giving them too much credit.

I am about 2 hours from home where it is 2.35 but on tuesday at home it was 2.07

here in sc it was $2.35 at the airport i think it is about $ 2.18

I posted on this thread on Oct. 29th. $1.91 a gallon. Last night it was up to $2.14 a gallon. It jumped .23 cents a gallon in 3 days! While we have been so happy with the gas prices, they have been jacking up the price of food.....Went grocery shopping yesterday, spent $30.00 more than usual, on basically the same items! So while we are saving on gas, we are really spending more on food!

It is just Art and I, I can't imagine feeding a family!

Yesterday it was 1.99 here. As for the price of food..........I dont want to go there.

Basically $2.09 here with a couple at $1.99.

Diesel was $3.09, which is better than the $3.31 I pd last week. Thankfully only a tractor to use this but, still hits you as wrong! $1. more than regular gas!!!!!!

Find myself looking around to see what I can "store" it in --

-- you know it's gonna bite us hard again! I'm cautious with this stuff but, you know how it feels to want to "save"

Used to have a 55 gal diesel tank with a hand crank pump at the old farm........of course we have 3 big units using diesel. Plus, the road taxes on all that!

Yes....groceries are going up, up, up! Garden will happen this year!!!!
