Getting Ready to Hightale it Outta Here

Well, I'll be bringing in my forms and old passport to be renewed tomorrow in London. We're off to beautiful Puerto Vallarta again on the 6th of February. The year went so fast (wasn't I just there?). I can't wait. After the brutal "fall"/winter we've had so far, I think I'll enjoy this vacation even more than the last one. Anyone else planning to jet away somewhere warm for a week or two this winter?

You are SO LUCKY!!!! I want to come too! I just love Puerto Vallarta, have you been before? We stayed at La Jolla de Mismaloya up in the hills a bit out of town. Just beautiful. The town itself is beautiful with the cobbles. There was also a square with an art show set up. Good prices on beer too

I personally like the Dos Equis it is bettter and cheaper than the Corona. I found everyone was really friendly there, I would love to go again. I am so jealous LOL

Yep, been there four or five times. Love it! The first two times my friends and I rented a villa right downtown on the mountain. Gorgeous! We had a maid clean up in the mornings too AND she did our laundry. It was awesome. The last two times and this time, Kev and I do the all-inclusive thing. We stay about 15 mins. from downtown.

Lucky you! We are not heading anywhere that exotic, but we are heading to Fort Myers, FL during spring break in March. My husband has never been so he is very excited. I've been to FL before but not Fort Myers.

I'll take lots of pics. It has changed a lot in some ways. Tons of excellent restaurants (upscale). I took a 7 year break from going there (2001-2008) and went back last year. It's all the same layout (cobblestone streets etc.), just a lot more restaurants and clubs (both gay and straight/mixed). Even better nightlife than before. Can't wait!

I am from Ft Myers, you will love it. Be sur to venture to Sanibel Island while you are there. You will love the beach there. The flea markerts are awesome. Nothing beats a Florida flea market. Have fun.........
