We are reopening several of our snack bars in the next month and Im looking for tasty gluten free snack ideas. Either store bought..grab and go items or things that I can make and package. Maybe a favorite food that you used to love that perhaps now you cant eat b/c of it not being gluten free in the traditional recipe....how did you change the recipe so you can enjoy it.

I have brought in new pizza shells that are gluten free and am looking for other ideas or recipes would be great.

Lucky for me I can and do eat everything but I'd like to be able to offer several items for people that arent so lucky!! I would hate to loose the potential business of maybe 5 people just because of 1 person in that group may be only able to eat gluten free.

Thank you for any suggestions

You sound so thoughtful-- I did gluten free for a while and it was tough. Just a note and this could just be my personal taste but foods made with bean flour tend to be very dense. My mom made a bread with some bean flour and it was like a concrete block(not overcooked).

I don't know if you are looking for a mix but Pamelas has great cookies and brownies which I think are equivalent or better than the gluten varieties. I swear people cannot tell the difference. Possibly a gluten free granola/ granola bar with lots of nuts and dried fruit for protein or energy. You could also try g-free muffins.

Not sure if Im thoughtful or just business savy...$...why let people go some where else LOL

I have heard of Luna... is larabar a brand of food or a particular bar. Thanks

I'm severely gluten intolerant (like throwing up, diarrhea, sick for hours...intolerant

). I don't eat a lot of processed food, but I do make my own brown rice bread in a bread maker from a prepared mix from El Peto. When I do eat a bar of some sort, I really like Sun-Rype Fruit Source Bars (do you have Sun-Rype in the U.S.?). There is also another brand that I can't think of right off the bat that I really like...I'll think about it and get back to you. You can also make peanut butter cookies without any flour

All you use is PB, eggs, and sugar. They are awesome!!!
