Helping with barn chores or maybe hauling plants and things in the garden?

Im not sure if Im allowed to link up to Craigslist but on Lakeland Florida someone is selling ( Monday Dec. 20th ad )a really neat looking goat harness, complete w/breeching and bridle. I dont know anything about goats and what thier size/ratio to pull would be but does anyone here use thier goats for hauling small loads? Im not sure if they would/could be able to drive per se but I guess you could just lead them around pulling a wagon...as long as they dont eat all your petunias.

After looking at the darling baby goat video Im trying to think of a reason to have a few!!

Yes Heidi you need a goat to harness up to help you out!

Honestly, this is what you need and I would highly recommend!

MEET ROVER! I honestly can say that without Rover I would be so dead in the water. I use Rover for everything. I have absolutely no help here with my daily chores and Rover solves the problem. When I come home from the feed store, all I do is back up Rover to my truck and drag out my feed bags. Same with my hay. I use Rover to clean all my stalls and she has a dump bed. I recently saw one on Craigslist in South Georgia for $2,000. And very well worth it.

JUST SAY NO TO GOAT HAULING AND BUY A ROVER!

and if you don't call me soon I will have withdrawls.

I have a nubian wether who is as big as my minis so I put a nylon mini harness on him and made him a goat-sized bridle. With a little training(very little) I got him hitched to my easy entry cart and the kids and I had fun going around the driveway with him-it's a long driveway. Only problem was: "whoa" meant very little to him.

We had fun and Cappy the goat was none the worse- he got extra treats and attention. If I had been more serious about the whole matter and put some quality time into training him- who knows? He is rather pig-headed, though and only likes to do things that end up in getting food.
