Welcome to the world of Highschool!

It is different to think you just started school in February.

I have to wake up at 5:00 AM to get ready for school as it starts at 7:15.

Keep stress free, do your homework, HAVE FUN!

hehehe, either Naked means something different where you're from or you go to some kind of new age clothing optional school.

Welcome to high school, you'll get used to it in a few weeks.

Its only worse when you get to the working world.

I get up at 4 am, working by 6 get home by 3. Bed hopefully sometime between 10-11 wake up half a dozen times a night and start all over again.

You might consider yourself lucky.

My boys have always had to get up by 5:15-5:30 am and be on the school bus by 6:00 for an hour and a half ride, sometimes longer if there is fog. There were usually no seats availble and most were trippled up and kids sitting in the middle on the floor. Nope that's no illegal here by the way, I drove the bus for 2 years. They'd get home by 4:30 and just pass out and be too tired to eat half the time. It really stunk for a while. Now Jerry takes them and I pick them up. Saves that long bus ride.

I was just talking to my mother today about those horrible school buses, Marty. Over crowding like you described should be MORE THAN ILLEGAL! The fact that school buses don't have seat belts is also unbelievable and stupid. Here in Arizona they are like ovens on wheels most of the year without air conditioning. I am so glad I almost never had to ride in one of those death traps but feel sorry for everyone else...

Your right, some can be deaths traps but our bus is great, really roomy and big.

When you say naked you say the 'a' differently as in the a for 'apple' and the 'e' as in the i sound in 'it'

So it doesnt sounds like naked lol

I home school now, but when my high schoolers were still going to teh public school, the bus picked them up at 6:21am and they had an hour and a half ride each way, they had a forty five minute wiat until school even started and did not get home until five at night. But, to top all this wonderfulness off, they charged us to allow our children to ride the bus!!! Yep! We had to pay for that lovely privilge. No more though, our commute rocks!!! LOL

Wow... My final five months of highschool start on Monday...thank goodness for that! For the first time ever in my "high school career" I'm having a full course load this semester. Which means I will have four classes, as oppossed to my normal two or three. This means that for the first time since grade eight I have to be at school for 8 20am!!!!! ewwwwwwwwww!!!!! Actually scratch that...middle school didn't start till 9am. Normally I wouldn't even wake up until 8 30am, now I'm going to have to wake up at about 6 45am. I'm so unimpressed and really quite stressed out about it. I guess the good part is I drive myself to school in my car and it's only a three to six minute drive depending on how quickly I go!

I barely make it through the day with three classes...so I'm probably going to end up very seriously ill this semester.

Back when our school burned down we had to go to school with another school so they went to school from early in the morning until 1pm. Then our school went to school (but at their school) from 1 30pm till I think 6pm or 6 30. It was the BEST ever...almost everyone's grades shot right up...I went up like twenty percent. I wish school didn't start so early and I wish highschool actually prepared us for real life and uni like their supposed to. Highschool's NOTHING like uni, college or the real world so it's really quite silly.
