Isn't Auburn AWESOME !!! I am so happy to hear that it wasn't tetanus...AND that she's doing better...Can't wait for you to get her home and get us some new pictures of her with Spirit!!

That is wonderful news. Milk Tetany aka eclampsia aka hypocalcemiaaka thumps can also be caused by stress (transporting, bullying in the field, etc.) I had a mare that it happened to after she aborted at seven months..They gave her an IV of calcium and she recovered immediately...very scary.
