Good news for me!

Im excited, I know that I can exert some positive energy into that I am doing.

Tuesday night was my 4-H meeting. This 4-H club is an equestrian based club which competes in horse shows, quiz bowls, and community service. Last night was also a special meeting because it was officer speeches and elections. I wrote up two long paragraphs and spoke away. I was running for Secretary, Vice President and President. Because we only have about 7 older members who have been there longer, we were allowed to nominate people for more than one office. This year I was Secretary. Well, I was elected PRESIDENT last night for the 2006 year!!! I am very excited because our group had some organization issues due to the former president's lack of drive and enthusiasm in the group.

I was also, this afternoon, elected Vice President for my High School's equestrian club/team.

I have a lot on my hands, but I know I can do it.

That's great. I was my club president and I was my FFA chapters Secretary one year, treasurer another, and my final year I was vice president. It's exciting to know you'll be able to make a small difference in your community.

Oh I forgot to add, I have been Secretary of my FFA chapter this past year as well!
