My 7 year old grandson, Tommy has underwent a number of tests, got results from Friday testing. He has been sick, this the 4th week. His only real symptoms, way too high of a white blood cell count, and swollen lympth nodes in his neck. Some days his neck feels better, and other days he can't move it.

They still do not know what it is. Friday was the 3rd, maybe 4th set of tests. 2 Hospitals, 3 doctors. They have ruled out about 30+ things. Including Mono, Hepatitus, Leukemia, and a few other Juvenile Cancers. His poor little arms are bruised from wrist to shoulder from the blood tests and from being restrained to get the blood tests.

He wants me to talk to these doctors, cause, "I keep telling them my blood doesn't hurt, my neck hurts;"

Another doctor visit this week and yet more tests, and hope they will be able to tell us something.

Thanks so much to all of you for your prayers and good thoughts, it was greatly appreciated.

PRAYERS THEY FIND WHAT IS WRONG AND NOTHING SERIOUS.

MY YOUNGEST GRAND DAUGHTER JUST HAD HER TONSILS, ADNOIDS AND A SINUS IRRIGATION DONE ON THE 9TH. SHE IS 6 AND CAN'T GO BACK TO SCHOOL UNTIL THE 20TH. HOPING THIS HELPS HER SPEECH PROBLEM AND CONTINUOUS SINUS INFECTION.

Oh that poor little guy! I pray they find out very soon what's going on and it's not something serious. Hugs and prayers to you all.

Darn it Carolyn!!! I was hoping they would have figured it out by now and given him something to treat it and all would be well. Been thinking of him a lot. I can't stand kids in pain  Thank you for the update and will continue to pray that an answer is found and that it will be a simple cure.

Prayers being sent for Tommy

Thankfully Leukemia was ruled out and as you said several other childhood cancers.............Has he seen a specialist??

Just asking, cause if they haven't figured it out yet, I would be getting him in to a children's hospital or something till they figured it out.......I feel bad that he is so sick.

Obviously with his white blood count being high there is an infection of some sort that it is trying to fight off....I hope they get this figured out, so hard to watch the little ones hurt and not know why.........

Please keep us updated......Tommy is definately in my prayers as well as you and your whole family...

I can't say enough good things about the children's hospital my daughter was in.

Carolyn,

I am so sorry to hear about your grandson being so ill. I was hoping to talk to you at Little King's. One of

the ladies told us you didn't come because of grandson being ill. I truly hope they find out what it is soon

and he will get better soon. Children's hosipital in Cincinnati is suppose to be a really good hosipital.

My cousin used to work there. I don't know what hosipital he is in but you ask about having him transferred

to children's if they don't find something soon.

I remember him in my prayers tonight.

Bless his little heart! I do hope there is an answer soon! Will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Lavonne

Gee wiz Carolyn, what a brave young man, he is in my prayers still.

Poor little guy! I hope they figure it out soon. Saying a prayer right now for Tommy!

I wonder if bonnie can help with this at all?

Prayers coming his way, poor little guy!!! I don't know if you and/or his mother believe in the homeopathic way but I wouldn't think it would hurt to give him something to boost his immune system. Just a thought.
