Happy Holidays Everyone

I was going to reply to what did everyone get for Christmas but I though it might get missed doing it that way, so I started a new one.

My Christmas was a very wonderful one because I got to spend it with my Family and my Daughter in California. It was kind of an unexpected trip with not much time to prepare, but well worth the effort.

It has been since 1996 since I have been with my family for the holidays and with this past summer not being a very good one for me it was a wonderful opportunity and since my work was shut down for a couple of weeks I jumped at the opportunity

. The only thing missing is my hubby, but someone had to stay home and take care of the horses, dogs and cats ...right?

.

I have seen just about everyone in my entire family and will visit with my other sisters in a few days so I have been really busy and exhausted

but its worth every minute.

My Uncle and Aunt decided to drive out with my grandmother so they asked me to ride along and that way we could all pitch in on gas, lodging and food to save money and it worked out very well.

We left this past Thursday and arrived here in CA. Christmas Eve Day. There was no bad weather at all and the scenery(sp) was WONDERFUL

We were a little cramped in the Mini Van with 4 people and two small dogs, but we made fequent stops so it made it more of a comfortable ride.

Well I just thought I would let everyone know what I have been up to & I saved the BEST NEW FOR LAST:

MY MAMOGRAM AND ALL TESTING DONE RIGHT BEFORE I LEFT WAS CLEAR!

NO SIGN OF CANCER!!!! I AM JUST SO THRILLED!

I have a long road to recovery, but its a start...right?

That has got to be the best christmas present you could ever receive, a clear mamogram and time with your family! I am so happy for you, and its great to hear from you. Hope your enjoying that California weather

but I do have to say--our Wisconsin weather is quit nice for this time of the year too
