Has anyone ever had

I went shopping at Walmart with my 3 and 6 year old kids. We were in there for 10 minutes, came out and our truck was gone. Tha manager on duty called the cops and they said it was reposed. It was about 35-40 degrees out, they took everything in the truck. I didn't have my kids car seats and I had to borrow ones from the police station that were from 1980 and too small for both kids. I don't care that they took the truck, but I can't get my stuff back untill I get a letter from my finance company.

We'll dear you know what I sure have had it happen to me, not proud but it happens. When I was much younger, I had a car and when I came out of my job it was gone, I was very behind on the payments and I really knew the time was coming . I too had things I couldn't do without and it took me a week to get my things back. Don't worry things will get better, they do.. I pray for you that you will get your childrens car seats back soon, and any other things you need from the vehicle.

Thanks. I wasn't way behind on my payments, but my family comes first and so does food. I have another car that was paid for in cash so that's good right?

Yea had this happen way back when

The repo people were kind enough to leave a few of my personal items on the ground- Got the rest back a month later when I cought up, they did say when I called that I could take my personal effects out of the car- I had no way down there. We do what we have to do when times get tuff- food definately comes first. Just a momentary hiccup on lifes highway

I guess I got lucky. When the repo guy came for our van, he didn't know where we were so he stayed around. He was very nice and I was able to get everything out of the van. We were also behind on payments, but things that were necessary (like GAS for that monster) came first.
