I normally get mine around the 17th-19th right around the same time i get MHW. I got my dec MHW a long while back and still no Journal. I've always had them on time, this is the first time they have been late with my issue. Last issue found its way here just fine to.

I called AMHR/ASPC today and they said the Journal has not been sent out yet. She had no idea when it would be mailed out either.

Don't want to start a riot here, and I have no idea what this year's problem might be but...........a few years ago, I didn't get my December Journal. So I called & inquired as to where it was. They said they hadn't printed enough! WHAT??? Excuse me?? They also said they would be sure I got an extension on my current subscription (that year) so that would get an additional month next year. Ha. ...That was a good one, huh? :lol: Never happened, of course.

But really, they're probably just held up because of Christmas mail. I don't have one either.

This has got to be very frustrating for people who put ads in the Journal. I know some of the events advertised in the last Journal had already passed before the magazine was sent out.

Not sure who you talked with , but I talked to Dawn right before Christmas and it had been at the printers and was suppose to go out before the Holiday, but the way the mail is , it will be who knows.. It has been late the last couple of issues, but not all due to the Editor fault.. Guess they are going to have to just crack down on people being late sending in Ad copy,

: And take the So Sorry to Bad route , so that they can keep the Journal coming out when it suppose to ..

I know it is frustrating when you have a ad coming out

as I advertise nearly every issue, but I also do understand when things are beyond our control..

I was hopeful that this months Journal would arrive on time but I am disappointed the last few issues have been so late. I hope in the new year that they come durning the month not when it is over.

I'm guessing it has as much to do with the postal service as anything else because, unless the Journal is sent out late, I pretty much always get it in the right month. I did pay the extra $20 for first class postage, though, and I think that makes a big difference. I usually get mine quite a bit sooner than most of my friends up here in Canada.

I think we have to remember that many more advertise in this issue then most with nationals results year end thank you kinda stuff.

I do believe in fact I know many were late in getting there copy to the magazine many many were late and it is sort of a no win situation for the editor...

Do it all without those cause they were late and have them mad and upset (especially those new to the process of submitting adds as many are not normal advertisors this issue) or have it a bit late and try and accomodate everyone

I am anxiously awaiting mine as well cant wait to see our add but I guess i will just be that much more excited when it arrives
