It has warmed up some, but still no sun.

I think that is why we feel so cold.

Do you have sun in your part of the country?????

Can you send us some please, or at least a post card of what it looks like.

I'm thinking a tanning bed appointment may be in my future.

We have sun here! Almost all of the snow is gone too. Maybe I can get Chantilly in for a drive today

. I'll try to cut off a piece of sun and ship it to you priority mail!

We saw the sun briefly here yesterday. It had been dark so long here, that the sunlight hurt my eyes yesterday. We are back to rain today. Lake Ponycaca. Ugh....

Oh! Maybe THAT was the strange light we saw for a little while this morning. There was a really strange colour to the sky for a bit, too. Sort of a light blue, not at all like the dreary, dull grey we've been seeing since forever. It won't last, though. We're supposed to get a dump of snow tomorrow.

i want the sun back!!! im so sick of mud and rain

actually im just sick of winter.

well, I'll be darn..I didnt remember what that light in the sky was called. Thanks so much for refreshing my memory...SUN, I have to remember that next time I see it! Here we're getting that pretty white stuff again, but the temperatures have been decent out. They predict about 7" of snow for us today, and looking at the weather channel right on thru Tuesday. I love winter (OK, OK, so minus the cold, and deep snow,,but I REALLY do love winter!) but I am so looking froward to spring..minus the mud and rain. Oh heck..I am just looking froward to seeing that light in the sky called SUN. I have too many minus's for the season. All those getting the sun..try not to hog it and send us some

We ALL hate winter and it's woes........dreary is medically depressing. I'm in VA, about 50 miles inland from Va Beach and 10 miles above the NC line.

We have had some glorious weather the past two weeks being in the upper 50's to low 60's....it's about 10 degrees above our norm for this time of year. Overcast & rainy yesterday but, mostly we've had sun and some cloud.

My friend and I were talking yesterday (she did my hair at her shop since it rained & we needed to be inside
laugh.gif
) about our seemingly constant thoughts of MOVING to an even warmer climate. And we listed the things we wanted to be there

Well, it occurred to me that with the extreme's we have seen this year & last -- Florida AND Gulf states with hurricane extremes, TX with their horrible fires right now, rain & mudslides on West Coast, huge snows in CO & north east too (of course we woud NEVER go north!!!!).........well, we have it pretty good right where we are

Yes, we could ask for improvements on some days but, truly our weather is not severe most of the year, on average. We have some bad events every 5-10 years but, I can deal with that -- not well while it's happening, but later
biggrin.gif
-- we sometimes have too much/little rains, heat, cold but, usually for a couple weeks max. I can be at wonderful beaches in VA or NC in 1-3 hours, the mountains in 3-4 (Appalachians or Smokies), Boush Gardens in 1.5 hrs, Williamsburg &/or Washington DC in 1-3 hrs, you know................my area is looking better

I don't mind winter, really. But I know I have seen sun in the winter, but just not this winter.

Can we put out a missing person's report, or will they only accept one for the Man In The Moon??????????

Yup, saw it yesterday for a bit, spooked the horses. Shoulda seen them run. I assured them they could remember it if they tried.

Hee Hee Hee! We have PLENTY of sun here! Bonnie couldn't believe we had our front door open on Christmas morning! It's been averaging about 60* or so this week. T-shirts, could be shorts, no ice on the water, horses standing in whatever shade they can find............ Stupid me even managed to sunburn my lip. OUCH!

Want some pictures???????......not of my lip.....the SUN!

Enjoy your weather

...sure wish we could! Corinne

The sun has been missing from Iowa too.

We have been having warmer than average temps also, our snow is almost gone (just patches here and there). If it is going to be overcast and ugly then I WANT the snow the weatherman keeps saying we are going to get and then we DON'T.

I'm one of those that loves the winter but NOT the mud.

The sun has been replaced by Mud and More Mud!!!!!!

I think it peeks out at night when were all sleeping and then hides when we wake up!
