Ok, bad picture I know, this is my big guy, who has been with us around 3 weeks, and no name yet, I just can't find anything that sticks, he is an AQHA QH gelding, Yearling whose registered name is TRR Hydelena Whiz, he's been going by "big un" but come on, thats not good either... any idea's to getting this boy a name :)?

Edited to add, lets stay on the gentler side with the names, lol, as everytime I've named one Blaze, or Fire, ect they are a BLAZE, or like FIRE,lol!!

What about Hyde, Del or Izzy?

I dunno....I don't do well with naming unless I meet them in person!

I think he looks like a "Big Red or Red" to me......... not real creative, but it's the first thing that popped into my mind. He is so cute by the way!

Hey!!! Love all the names, and since I just watched Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, how about combine, where the though process is going and do Red Cloud? Although Cliff is cute to...

I'll ask him this afternoon :)

Oh, and BTW, He thinks he is in the land of the little people,LOL!!! He looks over his stall/paddock and see's the minis, and he is scared to death of them like :new_shocked: what happened!?

LOL!! Isnt that funny how biggies are scared of Minis?? When my daughter would show at the county fair, they had her always go in last (in showmanship), so she could be alittle farther away from the biggies...

We call 'sorrel' horses 'chestnuts' here in Australia, so how about 'Chester'?

I've always liked that name for a chestnut.
