help new 2 mini

joey was borded on my property last summer he is a wonderful mini and i fell in love tax time i made the venture to buy him in march and it has been wonderful :aktion033: , however he missed his friend that was here with him that got sold to someone else so never being arround horses b4 i bought a 17 yr old mare that has been used 4 breeding her name is sparkle but should be named shotgun because she has a double barrel on her like nobodies business. she is so mean to my joey and me i tried to clean her feet today got the front ones those double barrels are loaded. what do you do i feel sorry for her but sorry isn't going to get her the care she needs or joey the peace he is entitled to.

If you bought her as a pal for Joey, shes not doing her job. if shes threatining you shes dangerous. I would take her back. She may never make a good pasture mate. or with some training she may come around. one of ours has to be seperated at meal times or she abuses the other. they are ok with the other as long as food is not involved.and they have never even threatened one of us. good luck DR.

Take her back expalining kindly why and find another. There are so many minis out there looking for a loving home.
