I got this awesome Panasonic DVD video camera and it has the little DVDRAM disks. And for the life of us we can't figure out how to copy the DVDRAM to a regular DVD - we can view the movie but it won't copy and the book doesn't have any instructions on that. And panasonic was NO help what-so-ever

It won't.

I made the mistake of buying one of those about a year ago. Spent a long time trying to figure a way. Sony finally admitted you couldn't. Maybe in the future software would be written that would accept the format but not then.

I took it back and got one with tape.

Check with the manufacturer. Good Luck.

I have been up since 5am working on this darn thing and finally found a trial software that will convert the VRO files over to MPG2 and it copied great over to DVD

Great. I had to be just a matter of time. Like I said I did it about a year ago. I spent hours on the phone and emailing to find out it couldn't be done. I wanted to dump the video to the computer and use an editing package to create custom DVD's. Nothing would work at the time. I traded it in for a tape version and use Adobe Premier Elements to create the DVDs.
