Everyone meet JMS Midnight's Appy Alert aka: Emma

We believe she will mature B size, which is great, we roughly measured her at 22". Very sweet and healthy. Just thank God that everything went allright considering what type of foaling season everyone is having.

:aktion033: :aktion033: Her birth was a fun one. That morning she had a big bag and was loose. By that afternoon she was waxed and dripping white milk. We decided to watch her that night. We checked her at close to 9 and she was the same. Walked back in the house, and i jokingly said, we'll not check her for hour and she'll have the baby. Almost 10 we go to check her again and she was in the corner of her pen sniffing the ground. We had no light and all i could see were what looked like a set of tiny black legs. So jamie runs to the house to get a flashlight, I ran around to get in the pen i get up to the door and Jamie says, "OMG its an Appy!!!! We were so excited jumping around. So i took the flashlight and checked and Screamed "oh no i'll never get this foal for me now, it's a FILLY!!!" I got my hands on her right away, she wasn't too old because she was still wet, but up on her feet and mom still had the afterbirth hanging out. Chi-Chi is such a good mom she was protecting her baby from the mares in the next field next to her pen. About 30 minutes after she was born a storm started to roll in so we had to stall mom and baby, and I got to carry Emma to her stall
