Here's Scooby Doo (as named by our little boy)... He's 7 weeks old and did really well last night considering it was his first night away from the others...didn't start crying until about 4:30 this morning... He has a dog house which he sleeps in and is the only one with energy enough to chase my little boy endlessly.... He's a really good puppy... very laid back and loving... He's very alert about everything that goes on too... very watchful... I'm used to roly poly fat puppies, but haven't had a really BIG dog (or as Tyler says a BIGGER, BIGGER Puppy...lol) in a long time... so how's his weight? He has a bit shorter hair...probably from the pointer in him... and the only color is on his head and ears... the lemon color and two VERY small spots on his back... he does have double dew claws on one hind foot... Thanks for the input on the other thread!

Oh, and any tips about helping with the first few night and taking the stress off would be great!

Thanks for looking!

Chris

:aktion033: What a beautiful little(big) Boy! Nice big paws :bgrin .

Thanks for sharing the pictures! I found it was helpful to leave an old t-shirt with my pups former peoples smell on it , or your own would help. Keeping our guy in his cage- helped it was a rough couple of days but the payoff later was great. I also know people have put ticking clocks(wrapped in a towel) with warm water bottles in the cage for the night. Good luck it looks like he is going to be a lot of fun!

Awwww what a PRECIOUS litte puppy!!!!! And the human baby in the pic is adorable too! I found that with Lakota , what helped her get thru the nights was to put a blanket on top of her crate to give her a sense of being in a "den"....she slept thru the nights the second day we got her after doing that for her.

What a great pair of handsome boys!!!!

He already seems to be bonding with your son.....I think you've got a winner!
