For those who are following the GOP presidential contenders, what do you all think of Herman Cain?

He's been a long time favorite of mine, and of course a Tea Party darling for quite some time as well. He's someone I would feel so enthusiastic to vote for and I am a great fan of his business sense. A ticket with him and Rubio would be a dream come true right now for me... Still time to go, more to learn, but WOW, what an exciting and refreshing prospect we have in Herman Cain! The prior press was that he wasn't electable but the recent Florida and GOP women's polls indicate otherwise and he seems to be a force with which to be reckoned! Cain has so much common sense, business sense, and an ability to say things like they are w/o any sugar coating -- political correctness be darned, it only keeps us from saying some things that need to be said. Cain says it like it is.

AND his 9 / 9 / 9 idea (9% income tax for all, 9% corporate tax, and 9% sales tax)....................... LOVE IT!!! "If 10% is good enough for God, 9% ought to be good enough for the Government." Sure would love to see some fairness AND easiness incorporated into the tax code. By taxing income AND spending, that would put things very much to rights.

What are your opinions about Herman Cain?

I like him- I used to listen to his program on AFR (American Family Radio) but now I have to listen to it on my itouch which isn't always convenient when I am in school. He makes a lot of sense and I can only hope he is on the Republican ticket.

To be honest I've only watched two of the debates, but I feel he is the best Rebublican contender. He seems to be honest, and was the only one that actually answered the questions and offered solutions to our problems, and not beat around the bush with non-answers.

I love how he's just straight forward and I love that he's a business man. I think we've got one of the most anti-business administrations in history and that has got to give before the economy will improve. Business sense is a great thing to have in a politician.

He just strikes you as a good, genuine man. Very rare in politics.

So far, I like Mr. Cain. He's the only ONLY candidate who gives straight answers. He's even proposed SOLUTIONS, unlike any other person running (on BOTH sides of the aisle.)

BTW, I also like Mr. Rubio.

I want to learn more about him and his positions, but I'm liking him more with every time I hear what he has to say/propose. In an overall pretty poor field(IMO),he is standing out more and more.

Right now he is my pick as well as my husband's. Our country is in dire need of common sense and integrity. I wish he and Newt would team up together on a ticket. I have been telling people about The Herminator for about a year and a half now. They were not listening then but they certainly are now.

It's been a long time it's been this easy to feel so good about a prospect, and he's looking more and more like a solid possibility all the time

There are some others I really like... despite what a lot of the media says about the current GOP field, I see lots of talent there and I hope that most if not all of the "hot prospects" find a place in the new administration.
