Do the protein bumps resemble hives? I only ask because we have had a stretch of weather that has kept this girl inside alot more than usual and the new hay could have given her a boost in the protein at around the same time and the bumps are mostly on her front shoulders and neck and up under her mane. None on her backside or under her belly. Most are gone now with the benedryl and I did lighten the amount of hay she was getting,
