We have been incredibly lucky this winter.....we had a gorgeous Hoar Frost last Sunday morning & I posted photos I took of them right after. Well.....Wednesday morning, we had an even prettier Hoar Frost & I just HAD to go out & take more photos! You have to get out early, because as soon as the sun is up for very long, it starts melting the frost off of everything & soon it's just "winter drab" again. But it sure was breathtaking for a couple hours.

Now we are back to above normal temps....and all the pretty white snow is turning to MUD!

Excellent pictures, my husband and I had enjoyed jack frost here the last 3 days with out the sun, but now the sun has arrived and all our winter wonderland is gone.

Wow, that looks magical. Even though I am very glad that I don't get those frozen winters where I live, I can appreciate their beauty.

Mother nature hey.....she is something else.
