A few of you know how ill my father has been recently, that coupled with school, my booming school barn, and life in general has had me Very stressed out... Well to top it all off my SUV dedcided to take a fall the other day, and $640 later we were back to being road worthy... Needless to say, I was now very conerned about my car's health as I travel quite a bit, and haul with it....

Wellllll, my father and I had a nice come to jesus meeting about "the girl" (my old car's name) and we dedcided that he would help me trade this car in and lease a truck for the next 3 years!

He had originally bought me the car when I was 15, and there's been alot of horse shows since then! So, here it is my first Real car and truck payment! It's really exciting and kinda scary to have all this, but a nessescary step to build credit and such....

.....

We went and picked it up yesterday, It's SO pretty!!! And Big, and and and, I Love him! His name is "Golly" for gosh golly.

Always glad to hear of a positive aspect of your life. Now you can haul to the shows without fear of sitting along the road with a trailer full of horses.

I love it. I love the make, model, style, and the color. That truck is for ME! My dream truck anyhow. I wish you tons of luck and that truck! You lucky gal! Cheers for daddy too!

EWWW... surely you don't actually want that cruddy looking thing! What was your dad thinking?! Oh well, I guess you can just send it to me and I'll take care of it.

Oh my what a gorgeous truck. I am happy for you!! I would love one just like it!

what a super dad!

Good luck,

Bonnie

:aktion033: Thank you for all the kind comments, I am fourtunate that we are able to afford to trade in a car, and that I make enough to lease one. It's Sooooo comfy!

I had alot of other options in my other car as it was the best you could get, and this one does not have all the bells and whistles, however I kinda like it better. I really put my old car through the ringer with my horsey lifestyle, and think that something a little rough around the edges will be much easier on the total picture as far as barn life and wear and tear on the car.

Yes, my Dad is a great guy,

: and has spolied me terribly all my life I have to admit.

However the horses and anything related to them has always been completly on me. He can't Stand them, and keeps on hoping I will lose intrest, right. ( Really, I got kicked out of my house at 17 for buying my first horse, and after I started to make money and proved I was sticking with it was when we finally reconciled.) I think by this point in my life, he is pretty well stuck with me and my "horse sickness" as he calls it.

Now I need to find seat cover for Golly the Truck, does anyone know where you can get seat covers that will do both bench seating, And the seats in the front that have the seatbelt attatched to the Seat versus on the side of the car?
