Holy Cow my Big Mare Finally Foaled!!

My favorite mare who foundared due to this unknown and until lsat night, unwanted pregancy.

She had a Perfect Bay overo Paint FILLY!!!! I LOVE THE BAY FILLY FAIRY.

Here are some bad photos, we have all been very nervous about her since her mother foundard so badly and was on quite a bit of anti-inflamatories until I could get her to my holistic vet Peggy Flemming...

Dad is a beautiful bay overo registerd paint, named Heza a Final Match, (Razzie) out of Match Maker, a locally very famous stud, and by my can do it all morgan/qh unregisterd super pony bay mare Sassy.

As it will be her last ever foal, I am pretty thrilled, and she's most definalty a keeper! We are thinking of calling her Jazzy, full name, Rhapsody's Jazzy Love Song since she was born on V day! She's got her mom's big ears

: and sweet temperment, a short back, and legs that just go on forever!!

I just LOVE her... I can't stand it!

She's about 12 hours old in these and pretty tuckerd out. She has just gotten her IgG, her temp, and a through feel/look check over by the vet. ( Like I said, we have been Worried!) Better pictures soon I promise!!

:saludando: Very nice Very glad for you. Morgans are my all time favorites. Learned to ride en a Morgan mare named Maggie Mcgee. She wae the oldstyle morgan with pieplate feet and the was nothing she wouldn't try if you asked her.

Cronewolf, that sounds like my mare before this pregancy. My old farrier thought that she may have been part clyde due to the size of her feet! I did a whole bunch of looking and asking everyone I knew, and the most common consessus is that she's half morgan. As her first foal is a Liver Cheastnut, out of the same bay overo stallion, it seems to be the case. She Is my perfect horse, and I just hope that one day she'll be okay to go run out in the pasture versus this dignified walk she's got going on now...

On to pictures! To give you an idea of how small her head is, this is an Adult meduim halter on her today, and it's on the last hole in the top! She was Not very thrilled about the halter game though...
