Excellent final show with mare

Its funny how things go. I have had my mare on loan since the winter, always with the intention of her going back home to breed in summer. She had come into season and i was ready to say goodbye but her owner said she wanted me to take her to one last show and boy am i glad i did.

She got 1st in mare class, champion of the miniature horse section, 1st in solid colours class and champion of the colour classes!

She was totally on fire and had an attitude to die for (which made up for the poor attitude at our previous show) and a photographer got some lovely shots of her. A lovely way to end our time together. I will definitely miss her a lot, she is an amazing mare and i had a lot of fun training to drive her. I'm down a driving horse now until i see if my new stallion takes to it or not!

It is yes. She is a mare i have always admired and its lovely to get the chance to get such good results with her. I know i love her foals too so i am even more interested in having one of her foals. I always wanted a filly so that the line can continue, but im open to a colt from her now too cause it can be gelded and driven to show which gives it more sell-ability in the future. Driving is just starting to taking off here really.
