Homemade Dog Beds

Has anyone made these. I want to make small ones with the soft sides but I can't figure out how to sew the sides on.

Any ideas?

What if you made pockets. See if I can explain this.......

If you have the material the size you want it, then what is to be the sides, you sew a seam around the edge of the bed leaving a hole on the end of each edge. You then just stuff whatever material you are going to use in and sew up the end.

Does that make sense?
