Back to using my big horse nippers. Used a big rubber band looped over a couple times to act like a spring. Got a lot of hoof off. Still more to go, but hard to get to it since everything's so small and close together and the nippers are huge.
On a positive note, she's kinda made friends with the big mare. Knew they would get along [mare is very passive and indifferent to everyone], just wasn't sure just how nutty the mini would be. Mini turned out pretty calm, has her moments, but the mare can just lift her head and glare and mini goes off to bother the dog instead. I know the pony would be too much, he likes to kick out and fly, he'd plough right through her by accident...
