While taking pictures yesterday, we realized whenever we post pictures of our horses, we're always shooting stallions or babies or even the pregnant mares .......... I guess because the 2 yr old pasture is so far away that we forget to include them in our photography.

Since they've been complaining lately that they are never in pictures LOL -

We'd like to introduce you to our 2 year old girls ...... ALL 12 OF THEM - four of them are fillies we retained from our 2008 foaling. (you'll notice little Pretty Sera in the group (makes 13 in this pasture) - she's not 2 (she's 4) but wanted her with the younger stock as she's so petite). Was hard to get a group shot and as I post these pics, seems some are missing. Quite a few of these are not on our website either - something else I better get cracking on whenever I get new pictures!

I think there may be someone missing in these pictures - but there is a total of 13 in this pasture - a mix of color but all tiny.

Now you've finally met everyone (we think anyway) LOL

They are all lovely, but these two are my favorite and boy do they look alike. Just lovely.
Ditto! Love these 'twins'.

Thanks everyone -

These two palomino 1/2 sisters have always been a favorite of mine. And born here, they are quite spoiled. LOL They were born just days apart and we were thrilled to have two palomino fillies our very first year of foaling (born 2008)! Their sire is Trigger, owned Elaine Jones. Trigger is one of only 6 sons born to Little Kings Leatherwood Buckeroo "Woody" (a Buckeroo son). He's also full brother to the World Grand Champion stallion Little Kings Buckeroo Baccara.

The one on the LEFT is alittle smaller than the other and is by our mare Angel. Angel is Gold Melody and Double Blue Boy bred. Pair that with a Woody son and this is what you get.

The one on the RIGHT is alittle taller and by our mare Mysti. Mysti's sire, Majesty, is sired by Johnston's Gold Bar, who is a son of Gold Melody Boy. Her dam also produced Jones' Star of Venus who is a Reserve National Futurity Champion and Top Ten halter mare. Mysti's bloodlines on her Dams side include Dell Teras, Van't Huttenest, Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King and two crosses to Rowdy. Pair this up with a Woody son and this filly has a pedigree full of whos who.

Obvious why we kept these girls huh? When their time comes - they'll meet one of our Buckeroo sons and hopefully the resulting foal will be a show stopper.

The rest of the ones in that pasture are equally as impressive but these "twins" as you call them just have something that draws you to them. Born only days apart here, they are inseparable - truly sisters 100% LOL

thanks for all the nice comments -

I still miss her every single day.

Gosh those first two are twins!!! How lovely and they look very happy and healthy. OMG, I thought mine had long hair in winter..... mine have half that. I will never complain again about all the hair shedding in spring! Tell the 'girls' they can stop whining now- they have had their camera moment, LOL

Love those Woody granddaughters too. What a driving team they would make! Pretty girls Marlene and Holly.

I've got to agree with everyone else! All your little fillies are looking pretty elegant in their fur coats, but your two Woody granddaughters are standouts!

Beautiful fillies and beautiful pictures, as always. I just love your place, I dream of living just like that someday
