ive been putting betadine on it and its helping but not getting rid of it

Well your pic just answered my question and hate to say it, but hot spots are known in the rot breed. Also, what are you feeding him? Most times hot spots are caused by corn gluton in their food which the gluton excapes from the body in many different ways including hots spots. If hes not on a grain free diet, ya might want to consider switching to one and I beat you will see a huge improvement within 30 days. I sell dog/cat/livestock feeds at work, sooo....Here's a few healthy choices to consider...ive been feeding him eukanuba dog biscuits cost nearly $100.00 a bag maybe its them
thats upset him dont know. do you know this brand and has anyone had problams with it

free doggy biscuit..the other food i feed is chicken mince and chicken necks he is a very fussy eater to..

And if I remember correctly, Iams and Eukanuba are the SAME company....just an fyi for those that might be interested!After being a fan for many years, I quit feeding Iams brands when I found out they use rendered products in their foods.....
