Here is a idea I got from the United States Equine Rescue League.........they have a store page on their website where people can buy t-shirts and hats that can be sent to the buyer..........but they also have wormer, farrier services, vet services, grain, and hay that you can donate for to help with the cost of taking care of the horses.
I think this would be a great idea. Then people can donate what they want along with donating money they have the opportunity to say "Hey I will donate for some wormer or I will donate some for hay........or I think I will help with a vet visit or a farrier visit"..............
They have their prices listed as follows:
Wormer-10.00
Vet Visit-100.00
Farrier Visit-25.00
Grain-8.50
Hay-3.50
Support a Horse-15.00
And we could add whatever we thought we needed to the list...........if anything.
Of course they can still make their monetary donations but this sorta gives them something else to give for..........here is there website addy check it out and look under store......www.userl.org
