How many acres and how many horses do you have?

It is cool to hear about everyone's property. I am very envious of all the land most of yo have.

I am also in So. Cal. I have 3/4 of an acre and 3 horses, 1 mini (yes it is possible to have one mini), 2 bigs, and 2 dogs. Our property is 100'w x300'l. The house and yards take about 150'. I have 3 24x24 corrals and a 120'x100' arena/turnout. The turnout always has atleast one horse in it. It works well, but could be better. I would like to have a nice barn, individual grass turnout for each horse, 2 arenas (one riding and one driving), a huge tack room, a huge feed barn...im sure I could continue, but I will spare you all... :bgrin One day I will...although probably not in southern Cali. L

Hi Everyone,

We live on 16 acreas we purchased end of last year. We have 5 minis, 3 dogs, 1 goat, 1 cat, myself, hubby and our son. We only have about 2 acres fenced out right now though for the minis, a big barn which we hope to divide up better, as it previously had cows in it and hope to start fencing out more of the land this year. Here in PA, some townships only allow 1 horse per acre though, so I am amazed at how many some of you with small acres have. LOL
