I'm down there in the 10%, only have two mares and one stallion...as of right now any way!!

Oh - took the question to mean miniature horses - ok - so add a mini donkey and a full sized horse to my list then.

I have six horses total, a hodge-podge at that: one mini mare, mini donkey, Peruvian Paso, Norwegian Fjord, Draft cross mare, & QH gelding. I need to sell one of my big horses as I don't need four riding horses but it's hard because I'm attached to all of them.

I  presently have a total of 47. 

  That is down from what I had last summer. 

I really NEED to reduce my numbers but it is sooo hard to do.  I had some exceptional foals 

  this year and will not be selling my fillies and even when it comes to my boys, I am not really trying too hard to sell them. With around 20 foals coming due maybe I'll sell some in 2006!

Well I been down sizing until we are down to 13 right now.

1 Breeding stallion (a Rowdy son)

10 mares (2 appaloosa mares are for sale)

2 geldings ( both are for sale)

Yeah, my numbers by the sex are a little out of whack, but I really like my guys! And I like the number 10 just fine. It is a good number for me. Would like to be down to 8, but really don't care if that doesn't happen. Only expecting one foal next year.
