l have no idea when this was taken but would like to...does he look like a weaner under 6 months or closer to a yearling from this pic?

Young to me..........still nursing to me - actually I would say a month maybe two.

But different horses mature at different rates, different bloodlines do....I am just used to my babies/weanlings looking more mature, not saying he couldn't be already weaned.

Do we win a prize?

Well, lets see, by the looks of the mane and tail I am going to go with closer to 6 months. So somewhere in between a suckling and a weanling.

Ok....OK......I will narrow it down some...............

5 months, 9 days, 14 hours old!

I would say that he is less than two months old.

Te-he Carol, that got me giggling. 14 hours huh?

I am going to join the 2-3 month group, he still looks really young, but I think his more 'mature' look comes from his more QH style body.

My guess is about 2 1/2 months old, maybe 3 months old. Why?

In my opinion the mane is already pretty long, so I'd say around 5 months.

Thanks we think maybe he was between 3/5 months got him as a long yearling and he's a coming 3 year old and still looks the same just much taller but he still looks like a very young horse and his M/T lenght hasn't changed all that much so it's hard to pin an age on him from that photo. But we 've been wrong before and he could be a lot younger maybe he was one of those born ageless.

The former owner wasn't much help when asked.
