: There are free websites though that take you through the steps. I built my website with "freewebs." I really like it - if you click on my link below and then scroll to the bottom of my first page - there will be a link to click to begin making your own site. Hope this helps!

I have a freewebs website too - it is very simple to set up and it takes you through everything step by step. You can only have so many pages on the free site (I think 6 or 7) if you want more than that, you have to pay.

I just built two websites. I went to godaddy.com and purchased my domain name (cheap) and also they will host your site for 3.95 a month. They have 24 7 help by phone. They have a website builder on their site. it is free when you buy your name from then and they host . Check it out GoDaddy.com
